Ultrashield Solar Inserts are installed directly into the polycarbonate sheet. Once installed the solar inserts become an integral part of the roof, providing a solar reflective barrier. If you choose Ultrashield your past problems with cooling your conservatory in the summer will be a distant memory.
This solar shield substantially reduces the amount of heat build up, while cutting glare and preventing the Sun’s harmful UV rays from penetrating. During the winter Ultrashield will improve the insulation properties of your roof. Solar Inserts prevent the radiant heat from escaping, improving the ambient temperature within your conservatory.
Polycarbonate Profiles & Colours
Ultrashield solar inserts are available for most polycarbonate profiles and come in four different colour combinations – silver, silver/blue, gold and opal. The opal colour is the most effective solar insert for reducing heat build up and combating glare inside your conservatory. With opal in your roof there is no blinding mirror like reflection from the sun on the outside, this is the premium Ultrashield solar insert.
